EMC Engineering Services, Inc. is pleased to congratulate and bid farewell to our outgoing team of interns who joined our internship program at the beginning of the summer. We have had such a wonderful summer with them in our offices and we appreciate all of the hard work that they contributed. This year we had nine interns who came from all over the state. Over the course of the summer, our interns gained real-world work experience by working closely with their managers in a variety of different contexts. They attended department meetings, participated in special projects, and voiced their thoughts and ideas! The day-to-day situations they engaged in were real and gave them a working opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to engage in concept-to-production experiences as well as problem-solving and crisis management.
Although we part with Rebecca Etter, John Carlson, Palmer Henderson, Ellitot Medlock, James Albritton, Cole Murphy, and Josh Wallace, we’re excited to announce that Christina Cairney and Willie White will be extending their internships into the school year and continuing to work with EMC this fall.
We are hopeful that your experience at EMC has given you practical experience that you will use for years to come. Best to you as you return to school and as you pursue your goals in the future. We hope that EMC will be a part of your career path again soon!
