EMC provided complete streetscape planning, design and construction phase services for several blocks in the historic downtown area. Design considerations included the addition of curbs and drainage flumes, trees and other landscaping, ornamental lighting, new sidewalks, and provisions for handicap accessibility. EMC was instrumental in the TE grant application process, helping to secure $560,000 in federal funding for the project.
