Description:
The City of Leesburg, a small town north of Albany, Georgia was founded in 1870 and originally known as Wooten Station, due to the significance of the railroad. In 1874 the town was incorporated and renamed to Leesburg. EMC was pleased to provide the following engineering services to the historic train depot of Leesburg, Georgia, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in May 2008: Site Engineering, GA DOT Plan, Landscape/Tree Plan, Permitting which involved preparation of forms, documents, anticipated filings required in the course of permit approvals from local/state government agencies, including meetings, negotiations and attendance at any hearings/public meetings, and Construction Phase Services.
