Incorporated in 1927, the City of Rincon is located approximately 14 miles north of Savannah, Georgia. Rincon was established as a result of the railroad, which brought economic growth and business opportunities to the area. In 1954 the population was around 500, today that number has increased to just over 10,000; increasing each year as the city and surrounding towns welcome new residents, large industries and various retail companies. With all developments, residential or commercial, they require a site plan review for compliance with applicable Federal, State and City codes, laws and ordinances before site development permits can be issued. EMC Engineering Services, Inc. has vast experience with municipal plan reviews and was pleased to provide these services to the City of Rincon in 2018.
