Description:
Local developer of Mosswood Subdivision, a medium density neighborhood located off Burton Road near Savannah Georgia retained EMC Engineering to provide professional design services for the fourth phase of construction. Phase four contains 69 residential lots on approximately 19 acres. The scope of work included a FEMA LOMA to remove portions of the site from the FEMA 100-year flood plain, topographic and boundary survey, site design services and construction phase services. Civil site design included a site, staking striping and signage, utility, paving grading and drainage, erosion control plans as well as waterline, sanitary sewer and roadway and storm profiles. Landscape design services were also provided to meet local ordinances. EMC also performed periodic site inspections during construction phase.
EMC was able to work with the local developer during design of all phases of the neighborhood ensuring a smooth and unnoticeable transition between construction phases.
