Lee County became the home of a new Prince Chevrolet in 2013 with the opening of a new dealership at the corner of Grand Island Drive and Ledo Road. The dealership sits on approximately eight acres and includes an approximately 60,000-square-foot showroom and service center, over 300 parking spaces, and grassed area for preservation of a 54” oak tree.
EMC Engineering Services, Inc. worked with the Prince Automotive Group to provide surveying, engineering site design, coordination of landscape design and construction management. EMC surveyed the site and prepared an existing conditions plan that was used in the engineering design and development of construction drawings for the site work. The construction drawings include a site/staking plan, paving grading and drainage plan, water and sewer utility plan, three-phase erosion and sedimentation pollution control plan, and construction details to obtain all normal permit approvals. A Notice of Intent letter was filed and NPDES Inspections were performed during the construction of this job along with review and approval of all shop submittals. EMC also provided construction layout of the utilities, parking lot and light poles.
