Due to the ever–changing arena of permitting requirements to protect the environment, EMC has the ability to perform NPDES Monitoring and Sampling Services for our clients and their project needs. We are fully equipped and trained to meet all your monitoring needs to ensure compliance with new EPD Regulations. EMC employees are trained and certified to perform the monitoring in order to meet the State of Georgia sampling and reporting requirements.
Services Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Notice of Intent (NOI) Preparation
- Provide a NOI to the EPD
Notice of Termination (NOT) Preparation
- Provide a NOT to the EPD
Stormwater Sampling Event
- Provide a stormwater sampling after the first rainfall event of .5 or greater & a second stormwater sampling upon project completion & land disturbance stabilization; EMC will also provide any additional stormwater samplings as specified by the EPD &/or NPDES permit.
Weekly Site Inspections
- Weekly site visits will be performed by a NPDES state certified engineering technician to observe & verify that BMPs are installed & maintained in accordance with the erosion control plans & the NPDES permit; all violations will be reported to the Project Manager.
Monthly Inspections & Reporting
- Prepare a monthly report & BMP analysis to the EPD
Written & Photo Documentation
- Document turbidity, BMP practices, & erosion/sedimentation controls by written log & picture files
